“ONCE UPON A TIME, IN A FAR-OFF KINGDOM,
THERE LIVED A SMALL VILLAGE AT THE EDGE OF THE WOODS…’
Within the park of Leadenham Estate is a clearing on the edge of the wood, which was deemed as the ideal spot for a unique and magical woodland reception. Styled by the wonderful Amy from Jack loves Jill and Teresa from Flowery T. We wanted to achieve an enchanted, magical inspired shoot: a tea party set on a table that ‘lives’ within the woods. We wanted to create a ‘living’ table, with the floor vines tangling up onto the chairs themselves, with a hanging chandelier nestled into the branches of the tree.
This shoot is all about showcasing a theme, incorporating each element of the styling, from the chandelier, to the glass chargers and crystal glass wear. It is so important to decide upon a theme early on and complement all the aspects of your day within your chosen theme. For this
shoot we wanted to create a living table, with lots of ferns, moss, vines and ivy, a living carpet transpiring onto the table. With the glass and crystal to bounce off the chandelier, candles, and natural elements. The catering and cake, designed and created by Holly Nelstrop incorporated the exact textures and colours, intertwining the table styling along with the drinks station, with
crystal decanter.
The moongate, created by Teresa, acted as a perfect frame. When planning your day to have an allocated space for more formal photos, whether that be for group photos or for you as a couple is something to definitely consider, specially as a contingency if the weather is poor and you couldn’t have those outdoor photo opportunities.
The Alpca added to the dynamic of the shoot, incorporating majestic elements, with a hint towards a ‘mad hatters tea party’ with a woodland twist. The true dynamic of this shoot was created by TTS Media in their editing style, embedding the beauty and magic to the shoot.
Both Sarah and Chloe, our model bride and bridesmaid brought beauty and glamour to the day, intensifying the design and theme choice, complimented by their dresses, tiara and jewellery.
